Bilingual Safety Administrator

Job Summary

The Bilingual Safety Administrator will provide administrative support to the Safety Department, ensuring compliance with Mine Safety and Health Administration (MSHA) regulations. Responsibilities include maintaining accurate records, preparing reports, coordinating training, and supporting safety programs. This position requires fluency in English and Spanish to communicate effectively with mine operators and employees. This is a full-time position that will report to the Quarry located in Jackson, Missouri.


Job Responsibilities but not limited to:

· Track employee training and certifications; schedule refresher and new miner training.

· Support incident investigations by collecting documentation and maintaining confidential files.

· Record safety meetings, audits, inspections, and corrective actions.

· Translate safety documents, notices, and training materials between English and Spanish.

· Interpret during meetings, training sessions, and investigations to ensure understanding by Spanish-speaking employees.

· Deliver safety presentations and briefings to employee groups.

· Assist visitor sign-in to meet site-specific safety requirements.

· Order and maintain safety supplies, forms, and PPE inventory.

· Provide general administrative support for safety initiatives and meetings.


Job Qualifications and Requirements:

· High school diploma or GED required.

· 1–3 years of administrative experience is preferred.

· Bilingual fluency in English and Spanish (reading, writing, speaking).

· Strong public speaking and presentation skills.

· Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite; basic computer literacy required, advanced skills preferred but trainable.

· Excellent organizational, communication, and confidentiality skills.

· Ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines.

· Ability to work in an office environment and occasionally in field or quarry conditions.

· Must be able to sit, stand, and walk for extended periods.

· May occasionally lift up to 25 lbs.
