Warehouse Specialist

Job Summary

We are seeking a highly organized and dependable Warehouse Specialist to manage daily warehouse operations, including inventory control, shipping and receiving, and maintaining a safe, efficient working environment. This role requires strong leadership skills, attention to detail, and the physical capability to handle warehouse demands.

Key Responsibilities

Inventory Management

· Monitor and track stock levels to ensure accuracy.

· Conduct regular inventory audits and reconcile discrepancies.

· Implement effective inventory control strategies.

Shipping & Receiving

· Coordinate all incoming shipments and outgoing orders.

· Ensure products are accurately picked, packed, and shipped on time.

· Maintain proper documentation of all shipping and receiving activities.

Operations Management

· Oversee day-to-day warehouse operations.

· Develop and implement efficient workflow processes.

· Ensure compliance with quality control and safety standards.

Warehouse Maintenance

· Maintain a clean, organized, and safe warehouse environment.

· Inspect and manage warehouse equipment to ensure proper functioning.

Team Leadership

· Supervise and train warehouse staff.

· Collaborate with cross-functional teams to resolve logistical or operational issues.

Essential Skills & Qualifications

· Organizational Skills: Proven ability to manage multiple tasks, inventory, and time efficiently.

· Communication Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication for effective coordination with teams and external partners.

· Technical Proficiency: Experience with inventory management systems, warehouse software, and operation of warehouse machinery (e.g., forklifts).

· Physical Fitness: Ability to lift, carry, and move heavy items as required by the job.

· Safety Commitment: Knowledge of and adherence to warehouse safety protocols and compliance standards.

Education & Experience Requirements

· High school diploma or equivalent (required).

· 2+ years of warehouse or logistics experience (preferred).

· Forklift certification or relevant machinery operation experience (a plus).

Work Environment

· Physically demanding role that involves standing, lifting, and moving throughout the shift.

· Exposure to warehouse equipment and varying temperature conditions.
